Candle Craftsman｜Takasawa Candle

“Takasawa Candlre” was established in Nanao in 1892.In here, “Wa-Rousoku”(Japanese Candle) have been closely related with the lives of the people since long ago.
Whereas after spreading of the electric light, Wa-Rousoku companies went bankrupt in various places. Now only ”Takasawa Candle” makes Wa-Rousoku in Ishikawa prefecture.
Mr.Takasawa, the 5th generation, keep lighting the traditional fire by taking time and effort.
